Thank you Poppy 1952 for your seasonal greetings!! I too have just had my best year since I was diagnosed in 2002! Thanks to the whole line of 'new' medications, great medical staff in all positions, my wonderful family, friends and faith, and this board I have been able to once again find meaning and purpose in life! I know that people say I am supremely optimistic and positive, but I honestly don't know any other way to be. Being positive makes me stronger and that has a ripple effect to all those I come in contact with -- whether in person or cyberspace.
That then reflects back to me and makes me even stronger again so that I can then perservere with whatever challenge crops up next. Best wishes to you on your journey with MM -- I'm presuming that your 1952 is a birthdate which makes you 6 years younger than me. I also used the code name Poppy when I first joined this board because I originally came from California where the Poppy is the State flower, but due to a glitch with the board I needed to change my code name so I became 'Poppy/Cath' presumeably because you had joined the board as Poppy. Oh well, I just thought I'd clear that up so that you wouldn't think that I was trying to poach your name!! I tried just using Cath, but they wouldn't accept that either so thats why I'm now Poppy/Cath. Take good care and hopefully this year will be even better than the last!! Cath
