Hi. Has your Dad had anymore tests (MRI, CAT, etc.), to see if spread in bladder? My Dad started with blood in urine, treated for infection, had catheter put in, and then a few months later found bladder/urothelial cancer, stage IV. The blood and clots were pretty bad at times, along with constant feeling of urination (before catheter), and eventual problems with incontinence. I am sure your Dad's docs have thought of this, but just wanted to give some information; I remember feeling that being more informed about the whole ordeal helped. You may also want to check bladder cancer advocacy network website (bcan.org) and bladder cancer webcafe (can't recall website off hand), there may be people there that can give you some more information (perhaps regarding sutent).
