What To Take If Catch Cold While On Sutent?

Subject: what to take if catch cold while on sutent?

Dear all,

My dad is starting week 3 of sutent (37.5 mg) and starting to get the sniffles. What medicine is appropriate for someone taking sutent who may have a cold? Would OTC medicines like Nyquil, tylenol cold work? Any advise would be helpful.
