Thanks for the reply Smlev. I phoned the hospital today to see if i could speak to my consultant. Unfortunately he is now on holiday.
I could have seen someone else but would rather wait and see someone i know.
It did not seem like it at the time but maybe the gallstones and the pain that went with it was a blessing in disguise.
Before they took the gallbladder out i had x-rays, ultra sound and a cat scan, so i am hoping that the proof i need is in those but i will be asking for more checks for peace of mind. Best wishes Jim xx
