Karen, I think you are right on the money about the surgery. I had told my sister Mama looked worse the day after surgery than before. I believe it was too much for lungs that were already compromised. The Dr should have waited a few weeks for the lungs to get back to her normal (which is bad anyway). If I can only keep her from smoking ! I read it is never too late to quit. After a few weeks anybodys lungs can improve.
Azzie / Pat, Indeed the wait was awful. We are all to familiar with the agony of waiting. I am still praying for you and Harley.
Tongrenhealer, I am open to anything that can help Mama. If it helps cancer and COPD the more the merrier. Thanks for the info
