Please can anyone help ?
My 46 year old partner was diagnosed with myeloma two and a half years ago with an igg of 35 gl. Since then it has gone up and down and is currently at 40 gl, with bone marrow aspirate patchy and trephine at 20 per cent. He remains in general good health but the stress this is causing is pure hell. Each time we go to have his 8 week blood tests we are told something different.Even his notes have Mgus ? on them! On consultant said without treatment he would be dead in 18 months but he was told this two years ago and not much has changed. If anyone can give any comfort or advise I would be so very gratfull.
