My hubby has been taking treatments since July of '06, and up until now pretty much kept some of his weight on until he devolped diarrhea.. Once that happened, no matter what he ate he had diarrhea.. The Doc first took him off of milk products.. then treated him for irrated colon, bowel.. like Crohns disease.. not saying he has crohns disease, just treating him similar diagnosis.. He started him on entocort, he takes 3 capsules in Am and 1 capsule in evening.. and it has helped his diarrhea.. he has good bowol movements.. I hope this helps in some way.. he has also been hospitilized 3 to 4 times since, for other complications.. one now has been a nose bleed, and gas.. so if anyone can help us with the gas issue, it would help... The nose bleed had to be carterized and packed.. and nose spray... Thanks in advance, Ms C

My father is being treated for rectal cancer. He is 6 weeks into chemotherapy and has lost a massive amount of weight. He is 6"0 and now weighs about 110 lbs. He can't keep any food down despite various different drugs to help. A nutritionist has suggested a no fat diet to no avail. I would be grateful for any suggestions. I am worried this cannot go on for much longer. Thanks!:)
