I had a whipple last July and I'm a very active 48 year old (was 47 at the time). My family and I had just been around the world and I plan to go out of the country again in June. My biopsies and blood work all showed a blockage but no cancer but when they went in they found cancer and thus they had to do the whipple. They did not have to touch my stomach and I don't really have any problems. Just wished it was a "pre-cancer" thing instead of cancer. But I've finished chemo and if God allows, I feel great and plan to stay active for years to come-I mean I have a 7 year old and Lord knows, you need ENERGY to keep up with them! Best to you!
