I am not familiar with zymitol but I have used Wobenzym for quite some time. It was recommended to me by my medical/alternative doctor. I was told I could take three at a time up to four times a day if I felt it necessary but of course you should check with your own health care provider as to appropriate dosage for your situation. Here is quite an informative website. http://www.wobenzym-usa.com/enzyme-effectiveness.php Hope it's helpful for you.

Has anyone used metabolic enzymes as well as or rather than protease enzymes? if so which ones? - I have heard of Wobenzyme and xymitol but I don't know if there is any difference in them.

And how many a day?

I hope someone out there can give me some advice.
