my 81 year old mother, has just been diagnosed with a tumor wrapped into her omentum, we are still getting biopsy results but blood test strongly indicate ovarian. Her health is good for her age other then lung problems. We are waiting for these tests before we can even get to an oncologist. We are working on it though. This has all happened within 1 week. What should we expect? if you have had treatment, would you do it again? What options would you suggest? Honestly how hard will it be on a women her age? She wants me to guide her in decision making....so I am asking for help from those who have walked this path. thank!
