my dad had a busy day today.i thought he was just going in for an IV to treat his dehydration,but along with that ,he (and his girlfriend) met with a social worker and discussed many things.he was at the hospital today from 11 to 5,and when i called at 5:30 he was in bed.he gets the port put in tomorrow which sounds like a 5 hour visit,and he will be instructed how to use the feeding tube as well where it is being used while he sleeps.this is going to be a long road and from what i hear,and things will get worse before they get better.
