In terms for the right versus the left kidney – the left kidney is located lower than the right and therefore is closer to other vitals organs. Although both kidneys do the same process, the left kidney is different. You should read about the kidney before you do any thing.
The Urologist wants you to wait because Clear Cell type tumour grows very slow. If the growth is two centimetres surgeons do not rush to operate. Some time Kidneys have cysts and they go away by them selves. Just to let you understand how slow it grows. In 2002 my tumour was 2 centimetre and I was operated in 2006 when my tumour was 4 centimetre.
In the last year there are a number of publications that recommend to remove the tumour even when it is 2 centimetre and not to wait long for fear of metastasis.
