I know how you feel my father is alot like you explain your father is.
It is extremely hard to talk about this with them although we do not want them to fight it alone. I have felt that my father kept alot in side when he was first diagnosed. We walked on eggshells. We really didnt want to bring it up unless he did. Then I think he went through a depression. In which he still does from time to time. Did your father just get diagnosed ?
My father has been going through this now for over two years. We have had some ups and downs but thats to be expected. I just try to keep him in good spirits and talk about things when he wants to talk. I know that it is a shock to there system. My father seem to go through a few different stages emotionally after being diagnosed. Its not easy I'm sure.
