My husband had lung cancer a year back. They removed part of his lung. His first checkup 6 months ago was clean. The other day at his next checkup they said they saw a tumor on his Adrenal Gland. He said with the dye they can tell whether it is cancer or benign. He said it was cancer and they are going to do a brain MRI first and rule out that. Then they are going to discuss a treatment. He was told no surgery! Does anyone out there have a similar story and could help us.!?
Hello, my dad was diagnosed with kidney cancer in September 2006 and his left kidney as well as both his adrenals were taken out. He is using Florinef and Covocort each day which does the function of his adrenals. He is doing just fine, but the cancer has spread to his bones and he under went quite a few differente procedures. He started today with Zometa to strengthen his bones and we are all very positive.
