I was blessed with the doctors being able to do a stomach pull-up with my surgery four years ago. I can't give you any advise on the surgery. It sounds like you really had a tough time with the original surgery and the only advise I have is get more than one opinion. I have heard of the colon replacing the esophagous, and I also read the survival rate. I do know that my sister has a neighbor that lived on the feeding tube for about ten years. She was elderly and eventually passed from something unrelated to the surgery. Best of luck, get other opinions, and continue to post so that we can keep up with you. My prayers are with you as they are with every poster on this board.
