Hi Tracie
Thank you for such a prompt reply, its nice to talk to someone who understands and as I've only just found this site, I'm feeling some relief and hope that I can get some good advice and remedies
Ken had 2 liver lobes removed along with his gallbladder, and when he had a ct scan in October while he was still very ill from his surgery it showed no sign of the decease returning. However, as you have just experienced every scan is worrying.
As doc 1 told us to go home and forget it!! and doc 2 second opinion doc operated we still feel quite nervous about asking to much, although now I feel stronger and ready for more questions and answers. Its good to hear that a doc told you that he has known someone to survive more than 5 yrs. Although after all we have been through if Ken gets 5 yrs at this moment in time we would be delighted.
Like you Ken's cancer was gallbladder and liver and nowhere else at the time of op.
You had your op 11 months ago, do you still get tired? do you do much exercise? are you working again? do you have any specific "what not to eat" and "what you should eat"?
I do hope all goes well and even though they say there is a spot if you are feeling well then you always must believe that all is well.
I look forward to hearing from you and take care.
