My husband just had a whipple surgery to remove cancer in the head of pancreas. The cancer had spread into lymph node. After recovery, he is scheduled to see an oncologist at a community hospital where he had surgery at. We both have very little experience with cancer and very overwhelmed. One of the nurse at community hospital suggested me to make an appointment with other oncologist to get a secound opinion.
