Hello, My father was diagnosed with PC on October 13 2007. He has 2 small spots on the liver so they bypassed surgery and went with gemzar/cisplatin + tarceva. To date (Feb.5th 2008) his CA-19 levels have decreased from 760 originally to 315. He has 8 treatments under his belt. I am not sure what is a good CA-19 number vs a normal CA-19 number versus what is a lethal CA-19 number? Anyone have any ideas?? Plus, I am trying to be proactive while he still feels good (he eats fine, works almost everyday (minus a fews days after chemo), and has not lost any weight) I would like to get him in a Rexin G treatment/trial if/when his levels begin to elevate (like Manilla or Santa Monica). From what I understand there is basically no chance of him becoming operable so I wonder what is the second best?? I am completly lost. Thanks for any help - and bless all PC fighters out there and your families. M.H.
