My 15 year old cat was diagnosed with multiple myeloma last Sept.  We are currently treating him with prednisone and the chemo drug Luekeran 2mg every other day. His globulin levels had been at nearly 11 before treatment and once treatment was started he dropped nearly 2 points (grams) within two weeks then consistently a half point (gram) every two weeks for almost 4 months. This week though we had an increase in globulins, he was at 6.5 one month ago and has gone back up to 7.5. His attitude is good but his appetite has become picky and he has lost weight over the last few weeks. He has been sniffling for a few months as well though not showing signs of congestion or infection.  If anyone has any experience with this type of cancer in cats, treatments etc that would be so helpful. There is very little out there about feline multiple myeloma and what little there is suggests that it isnt a battle you can win. We were so encouraged by his response to the chemo drug but now we are very worried again about the outcome.
