Stage 4 Diagnosis

Subject: stage 4 diagnosis
Date: 02/11/2008
My Dad was just diagnosed the on Jan.29th with stage IV stomach cancer.It has spread to his liver,abdomen and most likely,his rectum.The doctor said there's nothing that can be done and he has 2-4 months left.He is almost 78 years old and has had a good life.My question is how bad will he get and how long does a person live once it has spread to the liver.....please be honest.
