Smelly Burps

Subject: Smelly burps

Hi...anyone out there suffering from very bad smelling burps?  My mom has stage 4 stomach cancer and since Sunday she's been burping mostly after 3 pm but the smell coming out of her is like rotten eggs...it's really awful...any ideas why?
