I have liver cancer that has spread from the stomach. Have they talked about chemo? I am having chemo every three weeks, with daily Xeloda. I am just finishing my second round of chemo and will have a scan next week to see if it is shrinking the tumor or not. Have they done any testing to find the primary cancer, and if not why? Get other opinions, don't just settle for one. I know with liver cancer being a secondary cancer it is harder to cure. In fact I don't know if there is any cure. But I am going to try to do everything I can to be here longer. My sister in law was told she had an unknown primary and it was in her lumph nodes. She finally went to Barnes and they found breast cancer. So don't give up, find where that cancer started. With it coming from my stomach they really treat the liver cancer as stomach cancer with the treatment. I would think it would make a big difference on how they would treat him to know as much as they can.
