On January 29, 2008, I went to visit my mother and father.  My mother opened the door and had she was yellow! For 4 weeks prior to that day she was having trouble controlling her blood sugar levels and itching badly.  Kept calling the doctor and he kept changing her insulin. Saying she was having a allergic reaction to it.  I took her to his office that day where he was shocked to see her turn yellow in one day. We went to the emergecy room and she was admitted with what they thought gallstones. The next day they put a stent infor blockarge and found a tumor on thead of the pancreas.  We were in the process of having her romoved from local hospital to University of Jefferson in Philadelphia where more Whipple porcedures are done to give her a better chance of survival.  However, she got the flu in the hospital and has just been released Thursday, and we have a 3D cat scan schedule for this Friday to see exactly what her chancer are. Whipple procedure or no shot. i am so nervous because thiree weeks have past. Also, she was only yellow for that one day and has had no pain at all. By the way my mother is 72 years old, white.
