i hope  they find where ur tumor is , my heart goes out to u too
.they did my scans thats how they found the tumor, they say i have one
the size of a half dollar and then theres a spot on my pancres which
now they think may be fatty tissue but im  going to tell them
to remove it when they get in there  just in case . im looking at
about 3 weeks before surgery as my doctors going on
vacation   for 2 weeks .they checked  my ca125 i should
be getting the results bk tomarrow. they will be putting in a
port  if i have to do chemo again he says  , i just cant
understand why i keep getting tumors  or anyone eles  ud
think there should be a med out there to help prevent it
well good  luck to u too

I
am sorry to hear that they are unable to find the tumor.  My mom
had the same problem.  Although she has small tumors in her
abdomen, they didnt know until they operated that her bladder, rectum
and pelvic tissue had fused into a solid tumor mass.  Not to scare
you., but the ctscan came out inconclusive (the surgon also saw no real
complication when examing the ctscan), which suprised us when the
surgeon  informed us of this complication, resulting in the
inability to reverse the colostomy.  I wish you the best of
luck.  But they can only tell so much until they actually see it .
Unfortunately, ctscans are not 100%.  If you are not in the
best physical condition, i would not suggest a second surgery if there
are massive tumor spread throughout your abdomen.  We got several
opinions and my mom underwent surgery first to reverse the colostomy
and second for a debulking.  Because the cancer was worse then
expected she spent 6 hours in surgery and remains in a weak condition.
I cant say that we sometimes dont regret the decision, but I have to
believe that it did make us more aware of her condition and the extent
of her disease.  She was in remission for 8 months when the cancer
returned.  Again, I wish you all the very best.  Be well,
keep fighting.
