My question is that I am now on Avastin which is a trial treatment with ovarian cancer. I would love to hear from anyone who has been treated with Avastin for any type of cancer as I have a few questions about so side effects which I have read and been told are normal but are a bit scarey.
If there is anyone out there that know anything about Avastin please let me know!

Hi and so sorry to hear about your cancer. I am a colon cancer survivor but was treated with Avastin a number of times with different chemo's. Avastin is one of those drugs that work better when accompanied with another chemo. At least that's true with Colon cancer.
As far as side effects are concerned, I had minimal to none. I thought it was a very easy chemo to experience and really had very little problems with it. I could hardly tell I was on it. You know, when you get down to it, if you ready the warnings on any of these chemo's they'll scare the pants off of you but they have to print them even if it's a very small percentage of population that experienced them
