My partners daughter (21 years old) was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Dec/07. She began with chemo and radiation. After several months of this regime she was told she was cancer free. Within 3 weeks she had it back. They began her on ICE treatments. It took several months to finish due to numerous infections. After the ICE treatment she was scheduled for a bone marrow transplant (auto) went for several weeks and tests and said she still has active cancer in her groin and stomach and inactive cancer in her neck and chest so she has to go through more chemo. They are using some chemo that is used primarily for leukemia patients. Is this a normal routine for lymphoma? Her doctor keeps telling her that if she had to choose a cancer, this is the best one to have because it has a 93% success rate. Is this all true? I am getting very concerned. Thanks
