I have had gyn issues for several years. Have been diagnosed with hyperplasia and recently with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. My gyn tells me that the combination of these two things puts me at a very high risk for cancer, whether it be uterine or otherwise, I'm not sure. I am 35 years old and am wondering if there are any words of wisdom. My husband and I have one beautiful son and are not considering having any more children and we've been discussing the possibilities of having a hysterectomy to avoid any complications in the future. I don't know if this is a viable solution. I'm just very confused and a bit scared as my maternal grandmother died from a gynecological cancer, and my father is currently battling adenocarcinoma of the lung.
