This is Jack In Texas who started this tread originally. I am sorry to report my brother passed away in November 2005 - about 1 year after he was diagnosed.
I just wanted to report back because this thread I started seems like it is becoming a launching point for people in the Mannatech/Glyconutrients business.
I cannot recommend them however. My brother did use them but it didn't make a difference in his case. He was a true believer and was introduced to them by someone in the church community. I'm not sure why but it seems this product has a religious tie. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
I wish you all success in your efforts to fight this horrible malady. Many do get well, especially with the help of good doctors such as the ones at MD Anderson in Houston where my brother had surgery (twice) to remove the aggressive tumor. But he just wasn't one of the lucky ones.
So don't give up. My brother never did and I am so proud of him for that.
Good luck to you all,
Jack
