Unexplained Groaning-Don't Know What Else To Do

Is she awake or asleep when she is groaning?  My mother often did that in her sleep.  I often found it unnerving, but I think it was a kind of release.

My mother also said often she was not in pain.  However, her fatigue was intense and I think it is a kind of exhaustion we cannot understand.  Good luck to you both.     Roz
