Subject: Regarding US findings
Date: 03/03/2008

I recently had an Ultrasound of the renal system. Kidneys looked good, but had an Apparent hypoechoic filling defect in the posterior wall of the bladder. My urine had 17-22 RBC.

Scheduled for MRI of Spine and also having UraDynamics along with a cystoscope done.

This all came to because I was not able to pee on my own, I have to straight cath myself.  Recently I have been able to go on my own, but the stream is weak.

Is this something that is serious, not real sure what they meant about the hypoechoic filling defect.

Please help

Thanks!
