I suppose it possible.  Avastin has been associated with reversible posterior leukoencephalopathy syndrome (RPLS), a neurological disorder which can present with headache, seizure, lethargy, confusion, blindness, and other visual and neurologic disturbances.  It usually presents after a hypertensive episode.  Did she have any hypertension from the Avastin?
