What Is The Next Step For Me?

Subject: What is The Next Step For Me?
Date: 05/31/2005
I JUST FOUND out today that the lesion the pulmonologist was worried about lit up on the Pet Scan I had last week. He was on vacation and called me.
I have an appointment now with a chest surgeon next Monday. What happens now? Is this the time a biopsy is done to see if it is cancer and what type it is?
What I mean is, you just don't go get it taken out before they biopsy it first, if they can I guess, do you?
