to both scott & to steve. thank you both so much for these encouraging stories. it gives me hope for my father. he has taken a break from the chemo and will be starting up again within the next few weeks. he too is on the xeloda and oxaliplatin. he had horrible side effects and i hope that the new lower dose will not be so harsh. thus far we have had good results. with less than 3 month of treatment he had a significant amount of tumor shrinkage. we hope that we will get the same results this time. bless you both and your loved one. never give up! that is the mantra to keep close at heart when fighting this disease. thanks, kris
