My husband has just been diagnosed with cancer in the liver that is metastic SCLC lung cancer. Chemo helped his lung tumor, but it now appears to be in his liver. On the CT scan today, I saw spots in the liver. He will have Topotecan treatment if he can tolerate it. He is weak at this point after 3 1/2 months since diagnosis.
Can anyone give me an idea of the prognosis of this type of cancer in the liver. I don't really know what to expect. The dr is not forthcoming so far.
