Hi...I have cancer and also follow a diet similar to that you are giving your mother. I have not gone into remission but I have remained stable for three years, much to my doctors surprise. I feel what i am doing is enabling me to live with cancer. Another area you could look at is the emotional/spritual side. Laughter is good, watch lots of comedies. Relaxation, gentle exercise that calms the mind, yoga and tai chi and most importantly visualisation. Basically you have to get into a relaxed state and then imagine your tumour is shrinking.
