Date: 04/03/2008

My 28 year old husband was diagnosed two months ago with a liposarcoma in his chest cavity.  he had a large mixoid liposarcoma removed from his upper right thigh 3 years ago after 5 weeks of radiation.

this time we are using alternative treatments rather than chemo, which doesnt work on his kind of tumour anyway.

Below i have outlined the treatments/diet/supplements that he is using.  lease feel free to ask questions about any of it. things may be called different things here than in us/uk

 I wanted people's opinions on the things we are trying now, my main questions are

1) should he be taking high dosages of any of his supplements

2) is there anything you would add

his supplements are

* avemar

* B17

* Mannatech glyconutrients and pretty much everything else from their range

* InflamZyme  vegetable derived enzymes

* B12

* lipoic acid

* milk thistle

* shiitake and miitake (japanese mushroom) extract

* omega 3

* iodine

* co enzyme q10

* barley grass powder

* wheat grass juice

* acai berry juice

* noni juice

Diet (everything is organic)

morning

* a litre of water

* one hour later the juice of a small beetroot, 2 stalks of celery and two carrots with ginger to taste - this was recommended to us as alkaline forming

* a smoothie made up of one and a half cups of acidopholiis and bifidus yoghurt, a cup of blueberries, and 5 tablespoons of flaxseed oil (i add to this protein powder and his mannatech glyconutrients)  with this he takes his morning supplements as better with food

lunch

* boiled egg and salad of green leafy vegetables

snacks

almonds, fruit, juices, pumpkin seeds, goji berries, grapes

dinner

* salad with vegetables, sometimes grilled courgettes with cottage cheese on top.

we were doing fish and chicken but have cut these out.  we were also doing rice but have cut this out too.  he has recently started with quinoa pasta.

treatments

* intrvenus vitamin c

* ozone/oxygen therapy

* chiropractic (a couple of different kinds

* colonic irrigation

* acupuncture

* one session of bio-electric therapy to rid his body of man made toxins

* neuro link

we don't know how effective each of these therapies are.  He will be having a chest xay and next week and a cat scan the following week so we will find out then.

best of luck to everyone with what they are doing,
