First, my heartfelt condolences on the loss of your husband. I know it must be terribly hard to deal with, but time WILL heal you eventually. Be patient and don't crawl into a hole.
I am thrilled to hear your guy made it three years. Wow, that is one of the few stories with that kind of longevity. I know Rick has outlived every gastric patient they have had here, at least on a timeline. It is heartening to know you guys are a success story. Thanks for sharing and giving the rest of us additional hope. We are all in this fight together.
