Thank you for your response.  My father-in-law is now unable to walk without assistance and my husband said he is talking a little weird.  My husband says that his urine is thicker than normal and looks dark, like a brownish-green color.  I don't know what to make of this.  I went to see him and he is having horrible heartburn and says that his toes are sore; he jerks them back when someone even moves the cover.  He has lost a lot of weight now.  I am so very sad - I love this man like he was my own father.   He doesn't seem to be in pain.  Thank God for that.  But he is suffering.

Has anyone else had their family members go through these symptoms?  I can't stand the thought of him laying and suffering for a long period of time.
