How are things now? I have the same questions as you do and would like to compare our situation to yours. My father-in-law was diagnosed in December with stage 4 liver cancer. We are experiencing some changes as well, such as more vomitting and restless nights, and not eating very much at all. Sometimes he can barely keep liquids down. Please let me know how things are with you. Thanks and hang in there.
My father-in-law is still hanging on but his quality of life is gone. He is no longer talking with any reason and cannot remember anything recent but does occasionally remember things long past. He is only urinating about twice a day now and maybe eats 3 or 4 bites of food a day. He was in no pain until recently but now his stomach is hurting. He is also asking why he hasn't died yet. That is tearing the family apart. As much as they love him, they cannot stand seeing him like this. He has also started talking to people that have already died. He sleeps most of the day now. I don't understand how he is still here. He is very cold all the time; they cannot even turn the air conditioner on now because it makes him shiver and his teeth chatter. I imagine the end is very near but only God knows the appointed time that he's going to take him home.
My prayers are with you. I hate the thought of anyone having to go through this.
