My wife was on Sutent since Jan'07 and then discovered in her latest CT scan that there're some progression so she was taken off from Sutent about 3 months ago. She will start on Interferon this coming week. Our oncologist is also thinking (but hesitate to ..)about combining IFN with Avastin but the key concern is to watch for her kidney function (Creatinine & BUN as well as protein level in urine). Avastin will have some side effect on a patience's kidney function so please make sure that you closely monitor that. Would really appreciate for your future updated progress in trying this combined treatments
