Has anyone experienced intermittent lupron therapy and been married to someone who has?  It is clear that the Lupron is effective in castrating my spouse.  He has had two treatments (October and February)?with the plan to have no more until his PSA rises again.  Is it likely that his sex drive will return (interest, not ability since radical prostatectomy removed that possibility).  I feel like I am living with my father or brother right now and just wonder if it will change in the future.  Thank you.

Yes, when hormone treatment has only been used for a relatively short time, function usually returns to normal after the medication is discontinued. This and difficulty with other side effects is the main reason many men use intermittent treatment.

As you probably there are a number of medications and other aids which could also assist.
