I have posted on board before but was asked questions could not answer. I am ashamed to say I finally got medical records, should have requested sooner but didn't. I understand some but, asome I do not this is a timeline of my medical rollercoaster ride:
Sept. (06) Pap test: Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US) HPV positive
Oct. (06) colposcopy and ECC: ECC reveiled squamous cells with degenerative change, but no definitive dysplasia or malignancy seen. Biopsy reveiled moderate to severe dysplasia Dr said CIN II -CIN III.
Nov. 06) Cone biopsy using LEEP: Junctional mucosa with koilocytic-like cells, suggestive CIN I. All surgical margins free of lesion. No similar CIN II lesion is found in this specimen.
I bled for a few months did not go again till March and got pap again.
March(07) pap test: Atypical squamous cells can not exclude high grade SIL (ASC-H) HPV negative.
May(07)pap test: Atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US) HPV negative.
Aug(07)pap test: Negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy. Reactive cellular changes(don't understand)
Feb(08)pap test: Rare atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance (ASC-US) HPV positive (don't understand)
Ok first did not know my tests were coming back atypical which to my knowledge can mean abnormal so why not more testing been done, and I don't understand Feb diagnosis Rare? does it mean what it says or does it mean medical terms few? very confused. This all was word for word on my reports need help anyone have the same or very close. My next appt. is not till August freaking a little and not sure if thats too long to wait since all pap tests may have been coming out abnormal since Cone Biopsy using LEEP.
