My wife has had an oligo for nearly 14 years. She had her third tumor surgery in Oct. '08, but there was a problem and she had a big stroke. She is now paralyzed. Also the tumor has become more aggressive. I don't know how much time is left, but the outlook isn't good. You may want to ask your doctors about temodar. It is a relatively new chemo that my wife has been on. Like anything, it may or may not be effective.
