Subject: Touching of the head at tumor site...progression??
Date: 04/23/2008

After just finishing up her first round of treatment(radiation/chemo) my mother in law is feeling better (dx GBM 2/08 95% resection) But I have a question..I know I've read where babies and children of an age where they can't talk put their hands to their head, more specifically the tumor site when they are in pain or when the tumor is progressing. I wonder if subconciously adults can do this also? I ask because we have noticed she frequently puts her hand to her tumor site. I pray that this doesn't have anything to do with its progression. If anyone else has experienced this or had a loved one who has please let me know. Any insight would be great. Thanks and God bless~
