Subject: Bleeding long after LEEP normal?
Date: 04/23/2008

Hi! I am new here and am just looking for some input.

FYI. I have have a LEEP procedure just over a year ago after having an abnormal pap and a colp done. From the colp. the lab discovered that a had moderate and severve forms of dysplasia and was recommended to get a LEEP done right away. After talking to my parents i had the surgery which went great. I have gone through 2 check-up colps. and everything is looking pretty good except for one small area that is now starting to show moderate dysplasia although my paps are normal. My doc says it's nothing to really worry about just something to keep an eye on.

But anyways i have been experiencing bleeding during sex sometimes and have found it a little painful in some positions. Has anyone ever experienced this? Me and my bf have been together for my than 2 yrs but it makes me a little worrisome and uncomfortanble that this is happening. How long to it take to fully heal after surgery? Is this bleeding a normal thing?
