Bleeding Long After Leep Normal?

I just started seeing new Dr last week, and I had same question for him. I had cone biopsy using LEEP about year and a half ago, I myself get bleeding afterwards especially in specific positions. He told me it could happen after that type of procedure when the cervix gets touched. I also get really bad pain during sex again only in specific positions on my lower left side.
