He told me it could happen after that type of procedure when the cervix gets touched.

That's very discouraging news. My cervix has been terribly sensitive since the LEEP. I keep hoping that will change. Regardless, I'm happy you got a new doctor. Please make sure the new doctor shows you the lab reports, gives you a thorough discussion about the kind of dysplasia you have, where it's located, and if anything else is involved, and then gives you a detailed discussion about the risks and benefits of all your options. I keep saying knowledge is power, and it is. Informed decisions are critical.

Is there anyone who can also go with you? Even if that person just holds your hand, it sure would make a difference.
