Our doctor said they are doing the same treatments that MD would be doing for moms nsclc IV adenocarcenoma, met to all lymph nodes, both lungs, liver. 11/21/07 finished Carbo/Taxel/Avastin. Lung tumor shrunk 75%, nothing else changed. No grownth, no shrink. Just did CT and results- liver too many tumors to count, with 3 more than doubled in size, also brain scan came back with "two small tumors that aren't of as much concern as liver, so will deal with that later" What? Why not attach both? She is otherwise a very healthy vibrant 72 yr old. They will let us know the end of this week if she is in for the trial study for Cetuximab along with Docetaxel. Is this what they are using at MD? Appreciate all information. Thanks, Kathy
