I too have had radical surgery on my jaw . I have had 3 flaps and 30 treatments of radiation. After a year or more I am having a lot of pain in my neck and shoulder. I'm taking pain medication but I still live with a lot of pain. I was diagnosed with mucoepidermal carcinoma in April of 2003. Living with pain is part of it. I'm so thankful the cancer is gone, and I have a MRI every three months to make sure.
