Partial Gastrectomy

As you can see there are not too many success stories out there.  The problem is that most care diagnosed too late.  My husband is stage IV, diagnosed in October 2007.  he had total gastroectomy and after 12 rounds of chemo they retested and the cancer is not showing up.  Of course I realize that their is no cure for stage iv, but for now it's good news and I know it buys us time.  I appreciate every day that we have together and don't take a day for granted.

I wish your friend lots of luck.  If he/she is lower than stage III, a cure is possible.  Keep the faith.
